FusionTech Merino Performance brings together Merino Wool, known for its anti-bacterial properties, New Wool with its soft, resilient, technical synthetic yarns in a knit to provide a close supportive fit with resilient padding, balanced insulation, moisture wicking and outstanding durability for all day comfort. Ideal for long distance walking and trekking.
Description
For outdoor enthusiasts who demand high performance even when they’re off the trail, the Everyday Ultra Light Merino Performance is a sock you can wear all day, any day on its own or as a liner with other Bridgedales. Knit with super-fine merino wool throughout it offers superb softness next to skin while providing excellent thermal and moisture control properties. The Flat Toe Seam minimises bulk that could cause irritation and the sock is kept securely in place with an Elasticated Arch and 3D-shaped Y-heel cup. Built on a structure of Lycra®, allows our Thermo Fit process to ensure the sock returns to its original shape and size after every wash.
Liners
Liners have numerous benefits to the outdoor enthusiast, including: Increasing the speed moisture is wicked away from the foot. Improving the footwear fit for large volume shoes/boots. Reducing the possibility of blisters. Making a very practical difference when multi-day trekking where you can wear one pair of socks for a week while using Liners to absorb moisture from the foot. Additional insulation can also be achieved (depending on the Liner/sock combination)
